Experience

*This post is suitable for those who wanted to buy furniture in Kuching*

Yeap, we now have our own home sweet home. ^^ From the time we decide to buy this house, we go around town to shop for our ideal furniture. So, in this post I’m gonna share my experience buying furniture in Kuching with you all.

There are some furniture shops that we really like their service.

1.       Metro – Very good service. Our Tv cabinet is nicely wrap and carried into our house. They place the cabinet gently and brought over credit card machine for us. *Two thumbs up*

2.       Lorenzo – Good service in showroom with polite sales person. The quality of our sofa is good although the pillow’s colour is not the colour we ordered.

3.       Homestar- Good service in showroom with polite sales person. The quality of the furniture also not bad. They can deliver ASAP.

Now, there are also furniture shops that I TOTALLY don’t recommend you to go.

Maybe we are so unlucky.
Maybe when you go shop you are satisfied with them.
BUT, take your risk.

I think it’s not good when you comment bad on people. So I’m just gonna “censored” the name of the shop. If you wanna know more, you are welcome to ask me in person. xD

1.       L*no-  Very rude sales person. When we ordered the bedroom set in exhibition, they said we can change the colour/material to any other  colour/material that we like. Then, the show room sales person call twice to reconfirm our order. The 3rd time they ask us to change colour/material. When I ask why the sales person in exhibition said can change colour/material, they said they don’t know because that sales person is from KL. After negotiate, we take the colour/material that they can offer. HOWEVER, they call again, say the colour/material cannot use to make the bedroom set that we want. They want us to choose another bedroom set.

I was like WTH with all these. We place the order in April 2014, they call to confirm our order in December 2014. Waste our time. So, refund in the end.

2.       T*W*- BLUR sales person. We place order in November 2014 and ask for delivery in 3rd December 2014. Then no news at all until end of December 2014, we go to the showroom and ask for it. They told us the table we want not in good shape, and ask whether we can change to black colour or not. We do not agree to change, they said will place order again and deliver to us before Chinese New Year 2015 but never give us an exact date. So, we go to the showroom again after 2 weeks to ask for a delivery date. By that time, they told us they cannot give us a date because the office is close and they will call back.

YA, THEY NEVER CALL BACK!  So, we been force to go there AGAIN, the 4th time! This time, they just realized the code of table is not the table we ordered. However, the one we wanted also out of stock already. Then they said the feel so sorry and what-so-ever and will deliver 2 tables tomorrow to our house for us to choose.

Guess what? The next day, they call and ask us to cancel our order.  WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS??? !#%$^#^#$&^**)($%#$#@$!@$@ F* YOU!

*Calm down*

So, this is my experience and I will not go back to that 2 shops AGAIN. I’m here just to remind you guys to beware. Some shops might be a little more expensive, but the service and quality of furniture is totally worth it. Those shops that we had bad experience with, also not that cheap though.

So, choose carefully and shop happily. Good day~
